Onimusha : Way of the Sword

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an action game developed and published by Capcom. It brings back the Onimusha series with a new story built around Miyamoto Musashi, Genma and the Oni Gauntlet.

The game is set in Kyoto during the early Edo period. Musashi explores historic locations warped by supernatural forces, with a dark Japanese fantasy tone and heavy sword clashes.

Combat focuses on parries, deflects, Issen attacks, soul absorption and Oni powers. Capcom positions the game as a fresh entry for long-time fans and new players.
