- AI everywhere : from the simple numeric helper on smartphones to the real manager, the artificial intelligence is meant to be ubiquitous, in all of its aspects, whether positive or negative. 35% of the experimented users want to own a robotized advisor in their workplace and 25% dream about a manager who can help them to make the right choices. But around the half worry about the automation acceleration of our jobs and the consequences for the artificial intelligence rise.
- Setting the pace for IoT : connected devices and their sensors are growing and let the users automate some tasks thanks to this knowledge enrichment. 40% of the survey population think their smartphone will be able to learn their habits and achieve some tasks and duties for them.
- Autonomous cars : Is the human driver condemned to disappear from the traffic ? A quarter of the pedestrians believe that crossing a street will be safer with autonomous cars than a real driver. Moreover, 65% want to own this type of car.
- Merged reality : for 60% of the actual virtual reality users, the merged reality wouldn't be isolated from the physical reality anymore over the next three years. A half of the respondents said they have interest for add-ons (boots, gloves...) allowing interactions with virtual objects.
- Side effects for the human body : Autonomous car, virtual/augmented reality... As many new areas of business which could have side effects on a human body who is trying to find his place in these new technologies. Around 30% of the survey population think we will need pills to balance these pains
- The smart device security paradox : Smartphones, sensors and smart devices generate alarms, notifications and help us to grow our knowledge of nature. However, 60% of smartphone owners said that even if their device give them more security, they think they are too dependent of their mobile.
- Social silos : Social medias become privileged silos of data. A third of people confirmed that social medias are their favourite source to inform themselves, and a quarter give more value to their contacts than politicians.
- Augmented personal reality : Despite the disappointing Google Glass, more than a half of the survey population would like to have augmented reality glasses, to enlight the darkness and recognize dangers. A third also want to filter disruptive elements around them.
- The privacy divide : 40% of experimented users want to exclusively use crypted services but a third assume that the privacy doesn't exist anymore. A half split the difference and want a reasonable privacy for all services.
- Web giants for all : 40% of exprimented users suggest that they will buy all their products among the 5th biggest ICT enterprises. Three-quarters of them think they will do it over the next five years. GAFAM (Google Apple Facebook Amazon Microsoft) have a bright future...
