Among Us v19.0.0 is available now on all platforms. It introduces the Influencer, a Ghost Crewmate whose messages can help living players—or be misread and lead to an ejection.
Images that can help or mislead
After elimination, the Influencer can use its Message Ability to choose up to three random images to send to a living Crewmate. The images may help catch an Impostor, warn someone that one is nearby, or clear suspicion from a player. They can also be misinterpreted and cause another Crewmate to be ejected.
The ability has limited refreshes, and its cooldown can be adjusted in the Settings menu in the Dropship. The Influencer can still complete tasks as a ghost, so it retains a task objective after elimination. The role can also combine with the Judge’s actions to produce a victory or defeat, according to the announcement. Players need to update to v19.0.0 to play as the Influencer.

Server changes are intended to reduce how often duplicate login pop-ups appear. The update also slightly adjusts the Judge’s gavel smash sound effect.
A Redeem Reward button has been added to the My Account menu, with more details to come later. The Influencer gives eliminated players a way to send information to living Crewmates, though the images can be misunderstood.
