Community Crunch 522 introduces the first detailed information about Cerberax tricipitis in ARK: Survival Ascended. ARK: Survival Ascended The official post published on Steam also announces an integrated Mod-browser, the end of the “Expire” servers, Conquest Season 8 and several temporary bonuses.

Cerberax has a three-player mount system
Cerberax tricipitis is an aggressive, three-headed carnivorous canine. Its right head uses fire and venom, while the left uses venom and fire. The central head coordinates the other 2 and extends their effects to nearby targets.
The announced taming process begins by neutralizing Cerberax with narcotics. Players must then treat the three heads one after another before feeding it. Once domesticated, the creature can carry three Survivors: one controls its body and 2 occupy the side heads. Coordination is therefore part of the creature’s stated functionality, not just its appearance.
The post does not specify Cerberax’s spawn rates, taming duration, performance or release date. September 30 is linked to the Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade, the Therizinosaurus TLC and Gargantar from ARK: Dragontopia, but that wording does not confirm Cerberax’s arrival on the same day. The affected platforms and exact deployment time are also unknown.
Expire servers close on September 18
The “Expire” servers will remain accessible until September 18 at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST. They are then scheduled for deletion, and their contents will not be saved. Players can download their characters and freely retrieve their items before the deadline, making the transfer the immediate priority for anyone on these servers.
Mod-browser and Conquest Season 8 are also announced
The integrated Mod-browser will bring player-created maps, creatures, items and game modes directly into the game. The announcement does not yet explain its access requirements or provide a precise release schedule.
Official Conquest servers are planned for PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Season 8 will use 18 maps from Genesis Part 1, with 5× rates and exceptions for Tek gear.
Temporary network bonuses run through Tuesday, September 8: PVP and PVE increase to 2×, Small Tribes receives 4.5× rates for harvesting, taming and experience plus 4× breeding, and ARKpocalypse reaches 5× in the categories listed by the post. The year attached to the September 8, 18 and 30 dates is not specified, so those dates remain reproduced as announced.
For players on the “Expire” servers, the key information is a firm transfer deadline. Everyone else has several upcoming systems and events to watch, but Cerberax’s availability remains unconfirmed.
