Fallout 76 C.A.M.P. Pets will be able to gain abilities by leveling up alongside the player when World Pets arrives in December 2026. Bethesda announced the update in its directors’ letter dated September 30, which outlines projects planned through summer 2027.

Four commands are coming to C.A.M.P. Pets

Bethesda says current pet interactions will remain, with Stay, Follow, Protect and Kill added. The letter gives December as the release window for World Pets, but does not specify a day or deployment time.

Hideouts and Raven Rock extend the roadmap

For the following spring, Bethesda is planning Hideouts: more challenging camps designed to encourage teams to try different routes and strategies. The new Marked difficulty is tied to the best rewards.

Raven Rock is announced for 2027, alongside an expansion of the map toward the Capital Wasteland. Bethesda is also preparing improvements to seasonal events, rendering, weather, the new-player experience and fishing. The letter does not give deployment dates for those improvements.

World Pets is the clearest near-term milestone, with a December window and new pet commands and progression. Hideouts and Raven Rock broaden the plans for 2027, though their timing is less specific.
