Gacha Girls Corps has added Ai Kayano and Rie Kugimiya to its anime cast. Kayano will voice Shisuha Alvy, while Kugimiya will play Luna Varades. The announcement was published on August 23, 2026, by Crunchyroll.
The casting update confirms two roles and sets the Japanese broadcast for January 2027. An exact premiere date has not been announced, and the territories covered by Crunchyroll’s planned simulcast remain unspecified.
Zero-G and Saber Works lead the production
Takashi Asami is directing the anime at Zero-G and Saber Works, with Masahiro Takata overseeing production. Deko Akao is handling series composition, and Minewo Suzuki is designing the characters. Hiroaki Tsutsumi and George King are composing the music.
The main production team is now clearly identified alongside the newly announced cast. Broadcast details and international distribution, however, still await further announcements.
The anime is scheduled for January 2027 in Japan
The Japanese broadcast will begin in January 2027. Crunchyroll has planned a simulcast as part of its winter 2027 programming, but viewers will need to wait for the precise launch date and territory-by-territory availability.
The franchise spans novels and manga
Chinkururi launched the franchise’s universe on Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2016. Micro Magazine publishes the light novel under the GC Novels label, and the series comprises nine volumes. The Comics Ride manga adaptation had reached fourteen volumes as of the announcement. Kaiten Books publishes the English version.
