ICARUS Week 250 adds the Electric Seed Extractor to the T4 technology tree. Published on Steam on September 17, 2026, the official announcement presents it as faster than the T1 Seed Extractor for collecting seeds, but gives no production rate, crafting cost or electricity consumption. Deployment on platforms beyond Steam is also unconfirmed.
The new deployable is aimed at players managing large farms or trying to build seed reserves more quickly. It can be unlocked and crafted in the T4 Tech Tree, so its confirmed benefit concerns a later stage of progression; the announcement does not provide its recipe or required resources.
Several farm and resource-management fixes arrive with the update
Version 3.0.28.157342-rel-DangerousHorizons also corrects the collision of strawberry plants in crop plots. They can once again be harvested and used with a sickle, restoring those interactions for affected farms.

The Vapor Condenser receives two practical changes. Its inventory size is increased to prevent rewards from becoming stuck in the volcanic zone on hard mode, and a Take All option makes collection more convenient. The announcement does not quantify the new inventory capacity.
The same changelog adds localized information and status icons to juvenile-animal taming tooltips. These additions show the requirements and related states more clearly while animals are being raised and tamed.
The Kiwi is planned for the next patch
The announcement also presents the Kiwi as an upcoming animal companion. It will be possible to capture and tame it, then take it onto Prospects, but no exact release date or time is given. The Kiwi should therefore be treated as planned content rather than part of the Week 250 additions confirmed here.
For current players, the concrete changes are the T4 seed extractor and a set of focused fixes around farming, rewards and animal taming. The extractor’s faster collection is confirmed as a qualitative comparison, while its operating cost, recipe and exact performance remain unspecified.
