Published on October 1, 2026, Icarus Week 252 adds subcategories to most major sections of the Field Guide and introduces a new use for the Sandhorn Horn. The update is listed under version 3.0.30.158174-rel-DangerousHorizons in the official Week 252 announcement and changelog. official Week 252 post

The reorganized guide lets players view knives side by side and compare their stats. Open it with J or F1, or right-click an item and choose “Open in Field Guide” to go straight to its entry. The studio says the subcategories are intended to make the guide easier to navigate and help players discover its contents.

Turn a Sandhorn Horn into Organic Resin

Hunting a Sandhorn in Elysium’s desert regions can yield a Sandhorn Horn. The studio describes it as a common drop, but not a guaranteed one, and compares its drop frequency to the Elephant Tusk. No numerical drop rate is given.

Put the Horn in a Mortar & Pestle to produce 300 Organic Resin, a resource the studio describes as essential. The fixed yield applies when the Horn is processed; finding one on a hunt is not guaranteed.

Crop XP and next week’s radiation changes

The changelog also fixes repeated crop watering that let players accumulate XP: crops can now be watered only when they need it. At the same time, base XP values for watering and fertilizing rise from 100 to 150.

For the following week, the studio plans clearer visuals for areas affected by environmental radiation and adjustments to interactions between nearby dynamic zones. It has not given a calendar date for those changes.
