The official announcement on August 20 confirmed the premiere date, a new key visual and two theme songs for Season 2.
Japan gets the sequel in October
- The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II begins in Japan on October 8, 2026.
- TBS will broadcast the episodes on Thursdays at 1:28 a.m.
- BS11 will air them on Fridays at 11:00 p.m.
- Crunchyroll has confirmed a simulcast.
The Japanese broadcast timetable is listed on anime’s official Japanese website. Crunchyroll already offers the first season, but the announcement does not specify the French streaming time for the sequel. October 8 is therefore the confirmed Japanese release date, while the international schedule remains partly unspecified.
Ray and his allies return for the Magics War
The new visual brings Ray, Amelia, Ariane, Elisa, Rebecca and Olivia together around the Magics War. It broadens the group of characters highlighted for the sequel, but official key visual does not reveal the episode count.
Sizuk will perform Diamond Dust as the opening theme. Maaya Uchida will sing COMPRESSION : [ for the ending credits. official songs page confirms both song titles.
ZERO-G leads a returning production team
ZERO-G is handling the animation. Masahiro Takata returns as director and series composer, and is also credited with the screenplay and sound direction. Tomoko Shinozuka and Takahito Onishi are contributing to the screenplay, while Mariko Kawamoto becomes the character designer.
These credits offer a clear point of comparison with the first season, although they do not yet make it possible to judge the sequel’s visual result.
The story follows Ray White, the first commoner student at the Arnold Academy of Sorcery. He conceals the power of the Iceblade Sorcerer, linking the school setting to the Magics War shown in the teaser.
