Izuku Midoriya Overlay Full Style will join MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice on September 3, 2026. This third additional character will be available for purchase on the platforms where the game is already offered. The official announcement explains how to access the content.
Players who own the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition or individual Season Pass Bonus will be able to use Izuku at launch without buying him separately. The Worldwide Star Card (DLC 1-5) also automatically includes DLC 3. These editions and content bundles therefore already cover access to the new fighter.
Blackchain and Delaware Smash define this version of Izuku
This Overlay Full Style version of Izuku Midoriya notably uses Blackchain and Delaware Smash. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has not yet detailed the damage values, priorities or balancing parameters attached to these techniques. The announcement confirms his arrival in the roster, but it does not yet establish his effectiveness or competitive role.
The DLC joins the existing formats in MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice: solo battles and 3-player team PvP. Story Mode follows the Final War, while Team Up Mission takes place in a virtual space. Nothing in the announcement points to a new playable activity being added alongside this character.
Switch 2 players will wait one extra day
Izuku Midoriya will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on September 3, 2026. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for September 4, 2026, with DLC 3 accompanying that launch. Players on Nintendo’s newer console will therefore receive the character one day after the other announced platforms.
Bandai Namco has not specified the standalone price of DLC 3, its currency or any regional price differences. Players without an edition or bundle that includes the character cannot yet make a precise comparison between buying Izuku separately and purchasing a pass.
Izuku Midoriya Overlay Full Style is confirmed for September 3 on the first 3 platforms and September 4 on Nintendo Switch 2. Several editions and bundles include access, while the standalone price and detailed balance information remain unknown. Find more video game news from JEU.VIDEO for the next official announcements.
