The event does not begin at one mandatory entrance. Dresseurs can start their adventure anywhere in Brisbane, across 7 zones: Brisbane City Centre, Roma Street Parkland, Queensland Cultural Centre, South Bank, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane River Walk and New Farm Park.
The City Safari Hub will be located at Queen Street Mall and will operate on both days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. It is the event’s central meeting point, but not the required starting location for the city-wide adventure.
Eight stamps and explorer-hat Eevee
The GO Stamp Rally gives players up to eight stamps to collect. Each stamp leads to an encounter with an Eevee wearing an explorer hat, with a chance of meeting its Shiny version. Tickets are limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis through the Pokémon GO events ticketing page. Child Accounts can participate with a parent or guardian, but that adult must buy a ticket for themselves and for every participating child, using a matching email address across the relevant services.
Community meetups during the weekend
The official community photo is scheduled for King George Square on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 12 p.m. local time. If bad weather affects the plan, it is scheduled to take place at Queen Street Mall on Saturday, September 26, at 12 p.m. local time instead.
