Riders Republic’s Nomad offline solo mode is scheduled for December 9, alongside the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 release. Ubisoft says Nomad will reach all current platforms, letting existing players continue careers without an Internet connection and merge their progress into their online save when they reconnect.

Careers and exploration go offline
In its October 20 announcement celebrating Riders Republic’s fifth anniversary, Ubisoft describes Nomad as a way to play most of the game’s content solo without Internet access. The announced activities include exploring the open world, progressing through careers, unlocking points of interest, finding balloons and customizing your character.
The career support gives Nomad a purpose beyond free exploration. Players will be able to work through solo objectives while disconnected, with Ubisoft promising that their offline progress will feed back into the online save upon reconnection. That makes continuing a career, rather than simply visiting the world, part of the planned offline experience.
Career progression and seasonal progression will have different connection requirements. Seasons will still require Internet access, as will the shop, sponsors, multiplayer modes and user-created events. Nomad therefore opens up a substantial solo component without making every activity or progression system available offline.
For Switch 2, the mode is scheduled to arrive on the game’s launch date. For players on the other current platforms, December 9 marks the planned addition of the same offline feature. Ubisoft’s promise covers most content, rather than the entire game, with the listed online requirements setting the practical limits.
A free weekend before Nomad arrives
Ubisoft has also announced a free weekend from October 22 to 26, with progress retained if you subsequently buy the game. The announcement does not specify participating platforms, territories or session times. This trial period comes before Nomad’s scheduled release, so it will not offer a chance to try the forthcoming offline mode.
The anniversary celebrations include a developer-created UGE event running from October 21 to November 4. Skis are announced as the reward for the first week, followed by a BMX in the second.
Henri PFR’s concert will also be broadcast on a big screen in the Ridge, twice a day for 2 weeks starting October 22.
The October trial offers a way to decide whether to buy Riders Republic while keeping the progress made during that period. Players specifically interested in continuing careers offline will need to wait for Nomad’s planned December 9 arrival.
