Crunchyroll published a creditless version of the VERTEX FORCE opening on September 18, 2026. The sequence features “Synchro Blue,” the theme song performed by ClariS.
The release was published before the anime’s Japanese broadcast begins on October 3, 2026, at 11:30 p.m. Japan time, according to the official VERTEX FORCE website:official broadcast schedule. Crunchyroll has also confirmed that the series will be part of its fall simulcast lineup.
The Japanese broadcast date is set
The opening’s release does not alter the announced broadcast schedule. The next confirmed milestone for VERTEX FORCE is therefore the Japanese premiere on October 3 at 11:30 p.m. Japan time.

A new original anime from SMDE
VERTEX FORCE is an original TV anime animated by studio SMDE. Kazuhiro Takamura directs the series and is also responsible for its character design, with Goro Kuji serving as assistant director.
The production credits bring together several designers and technical leads. Kanetake Ebikawa created the design of the “Engines,” while JNTHED designed ENIA. Kazuhiro Takamura and Masashi Suzuki handle series composition, Hiroyuki Tadokoro leads CG direction, and Nobuaki Nobusawa composes the music.
According to the official synopsis, the story follows a family that possesses the secret power of the “Engines” and confronts mysterious enemies appearing in Okinawa. That premise establishes the series’ central conflict, while the opening itself does not provide enough information to assess how the story will develop or how the anime will be realized.
VERTEX FORCE now has a published opening and a confirmed Japanese broadcast date. Its Crunchyroll simulcast is planned for the fall, but the platform’s regional coverage and episode schedule still await clarification.
