War Thunder Update 2.57.1.111 lowers the entry point for Naval Enduring Confrontation to Battle Rating 3.3. The official notes were published on August 27, 2026 on Steam.

The mode previously required a ship between Battle Rating 4.7 and 5.0. That fixed requirement has been removed, with matchmaking now using Battle Rating instead. More ships can therefore enter Naval Enduring Confrontation, although the announcement does not define eligibility beyond the stated 3.3 threshold.

A lower entry point for naval players

The change directly affects players whose ships could not meet the former 4.7–5.0 requirement. The announcement also says the queue now requires fewer players, but it does not give the new number. Its effect on queue times and match availability cannot yet be measured from the published information.

Spawns become free in the mode

Every spawn in Naval Enduring Confrontation is now free in Spawn Points. In Arcade difficulty, the settings match those used in Arcade naval battles. A delay prevents a player from immediately respawning with the same vehicle at the same point, placing a limit on how repeatedly one vehicle and position can be used.

Shared spotting now displays enemies detected by allies regardless of distance. Information can consequently circulate across the entire battle rather than remaining tied to a limited spotting range. The update also fixes mirrored images in Water Effects Quality. primary publication contains the detailed list of these adjustments.

These changes expand access and remove a resource cost from spawning, but they do not establish how much the smaller queue requirement will improve matchmaking. The exact player-count threshold remains unknown, as does the practical availability of battles at the newly eligible Battle Ratings. What the official notes confirm

The key information is documented in the following official publication:

  • steamcommunity.com: Steam Community — the official “Update 2. 57. 1. 111” notes, published on August 27, 2026, detail the matchmaking, naval access, spawns and fixes.

For naval players, the immediate change is clear: ships from Battle Rating 3.3 can now be brought into Naval Enduring Confrontation, and spawning no longer consumes Spawn Points. The queue requirement has been reduced, but its new figure—and therefore its effect on matchmaking—still needs clarification.
