Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are mainline Pokémon games set in the Paldea region. The adventure lets players progress at their own pace through Victory Road, Path of Legends and Starfall Street, while gradually building a team that can handle different type matchups.

The game keeps the core Pokémon loop of catching, training, evolving and combining six party members for different situations. Paldea’s more open structure encourages players to move between areas, try new captures and avoid relying on a single overleveled favorite for every challenge.

Terastallization adds an important strategic layer, allowing a Pokémon to take on a Tera Type during battle. The system matters in the main story and especially in Tera Raid Battles, where players need to read the opponent’s displayed Tera Type and bring a Pokémon that can attack effectively while surviving likely moves.
