Tempest Rising

Tempest Rising is a real-time strategy game developed by Slipgate Ironworks and published by 3D Realms, Knights Peak and Saber Interactive. It targets PC RTS players who enjoy base building, resource control, unit production and fast tactical engagements.

The game includes two single-player campaigns of 11 missions according to 3D Realms. It also features skirmish, custom games and ranked matchmaking. GDF and Tempest Dynasty are central to the launch content. The Veti faction is being tested through a public multiplayer beta in 2026.

Tempest Rising is available on PC through Steam. It is best suited to players looking for a focused, classic-style RTS with modern production values.
