The King is Watching is a roguelite strategy game developed by Hypnohead and published by tinyBuild. Players build a kingdom and defend it from threats, but every building only works under the King’s gaze.

Each run balances resources, military training, defenses, and magic. Permanent upgrades carry lessons from failed reigns into later attempts.

The game launched on PC on July 21, 2025. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions are scheduled for July 29, 2026 with the Volcano update.
