The Relic : First Guardian

The Relic: First Guardian is a dark fantasy action RPG from Project Cloud Games, published by Perp Games. It puts players in the role of the Last Guardian and builds its identity around tragic boss encounters, cursed relics, and a world shaped by Korean folklore.

The combat pitch stands out because stamina is mostly reserved for defense and dodging, while offensive skills run on cooldowns. That setup suggests a faster, more assertive rhythm than a standard Souls clone, with room for players to shape their own combat flow through relic effects and weapon choices.

The game is officially set to launch on July 31, 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5. Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are also planned, but their exact dates are still unconfirmed. It is one of the more interesting mid-tier action RPGs to watch this summer.
