To redeem a PlayStation Store voucher on PS4, open the Store and select “Redeem Codes” at the bottom of the sidebar. Before entering it, check that you are signed in to the intended account and that the voucher matches its region: redeemed content and funds cannot be transferred between accounts.

Are there active DayZ promotional codes?

No active DayZ PS4 promotional codes or associated rewards are listed on the French DayZ PlayStation Store listing, which identifies DayZ as a PS4 game. The listing for the Steam version does not supply any either. That finding applies to those listings; it does not establish that no codes exist elsewhere.

The instructions below are for a valid PlayStation Store voucher you already have. A voucher adds the content or credit associated with it, so check what yours provides before redeeming it. A code described as being for DayZ should not automatically be treated as a promotional reward or an offer granting access to the game.

The French PlayStation listing also states that online play and PlayStation Plus are required. If your aim is to play DayZ, account access to the game and the required subscription are separate checks. Successfully redeeming a voucher does not remove the listed requirements for playing.

Check the account, region and code type

According to PlayStation’s support page on voucher codes, a PlayStation Store voucher must match the region of the account receiving it. Check that match before proceeding. Having a PS4 is not enough to satisfy this condition: the voucher’s regional restriction concerns the account used for redemption.

If several people use the console, check which account is signed in before opening the Store. Choose the account that should receive the content or funds, because PlayStation does not allow transfers between accounts. Do not confirm redemption on another account on the assumption that you can move the result later.

Next, distinguish a voucher from a discount code. The voucher procedure uses a 12-digit code; discount codes are applied at checkout instead. If you have a discount code, switch to the checkout process rather than entering it under “Redeem Codes”. This distinction explains where to use each type of code; it does not confirm a particular DayZ discount.

  1. Sign in to the PlayStation account that should receive the voucher’s content or credit.
  2. Open PlayStation Store on your PS4.
  3. Select “Redeem Codes” at the bottom of the sidebar.
  4. Enter the 12-digit voucher code, then select “Continue”.
  5. Select “Confirm” or “Yes” to add the associated content or credit to the account.

The final confirmation assigns the voucher’s content or credit to the account you are using. Keep the intended result in mind: a content voucher and a credit voucher provide different things. Completing the redemption process does not mean that every voucher supplies DayZ itself.

After redemption, check the receiving account for the content or credit associated with your voucher. If content is missing despite a completed redemption, follow the recovery steps below. If the code was rejected before redemption, start with the region, code type and single-use checks instead.

If the code is rejected or content is missing

For a rejected code, check that the voucher’s region matches the account’s region. Then check that you are using the appropriate entry point: voucher codes go through “Redeem Codes”, while discount codes belong at checkout. These checks address different restrictions, so correcting the entry point will not resolve a region mismatch.

A PlayStation Store voucher can only be used once. If it is reported as already used, entering it again will not redeem it a second time. Trying another account will not move content or funds already assigned to the original receiving account.

If redemption succeeded but the associated content is still missing, PlayStation recommends restarting the console, then signing out and back in, checking which account you are using. Look for the content again on the account that redeemed the voucher. If it remains unavailable, consult the troubleshooting advice on the PlayStation support page linked above.

Before confirming any voucher, settle the account and region checks first. After confirmation, verify the result against what the voucher actually provides; for missing content, restart and reconnect using the receiving account.
