[Guide] Minion Masters crossplay: what Steam, Xbox and Android currently confirm

Minion Masters officially confirms cross-play between Steam and Xbox. Android is available, but the Google Play listing does not identify which platforms can play with it.

Steam and Xbox are the clearest confirmed pairing

The Steam page announces full cross-play between Steam and Xbox. The Xbox listing supports that picture: it lists Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as playable platforms and includes “Xbox cross-platform multiplayer” among the game’s capabilities.

That matters for the game’s core formats. Steam describes 1v1 duels and 2v2 matches in which players combine their decks, so the confirmed cross-play pairing covers both competitive and team-oriented play described on the store page.

There is one practical limit: the official Steam page, Xbox listing and BetaDwarf announcement do not provide a step-by-step method for inviting a friend from another platform. The cross-play claim is clear; the invitation procedure is not.

Android is available, but its cross-play partners remain unclear

The Google Play listing presents Minion Masters on Android and shows an update dated August 16, 2026. It does not say which platforms can play with the Android version.

That leaves Android in a different position from Steam and Xbox. Availability on mobile is confirmed, but the listing alone cannot establish whether Android players can currently join Steam, Xbox or other platforms.

BetaDwarf’s April 16, 2024 announcement said the studio wanted to offer full cross-play between PC, mobile and Xbox. That was a stated goal, not a current compatibility matrix, so it cannot by itself settle the Android question today.

Cross-save was announced separately from cross-play

The same 2024 announcement planned cross-save between PC and mobile, while specifying that cross-save would not initially be supported on Xbox. This is a separate feature from multiplayer compatibility: being able to play together does not automatically establish that progress can be carried between platforms.

The announcement does not establish whether that initial Xbox limitation has since changed. For cross-play, the strongest current confirmation remains the Steam-to-Xbox information shown by the two platform listings.

For now, the useful distinction is straightforward: Steam and Xbox are explicitly presented as cross-play compatible; Android is listed as an available platform, but its compatible cross-play partners are not identified by the Google Play page.
