Overwatch - Game Awards 2016 : les nominés et Kojima

Lors de la dernière édition des Game Awards, Hideo Kojima n’a pas pu être récompensé.

Une interdiction de Game Awards provenant de Konami

C’était aussi surprenant qu’inattendu : Hideo Kojima absent de la cérémonie des Game Awards, l’année dernière. Alors qu’il devait recevoir l’Industry Icon Award pour son travail sur Metal Gear Solid V, les studios Konami ont fait le nécessaire afin de l’empêcher d’y participer. Geoff Keighley, l’organisateur de la cérémonie a dû expliquer la situation.

La récompense tant attendue

Ayant quitté Konami et fondé sa propre société, Kojima Productions, le père de Metal Gear sera présent cette année aux Game Awards 2016, où il sera enfin récompensé le 1^er décembre par le journaliste canadien, Geoff Keighley, au Los Angeles Theater.

Hideo Kojima recevra son Industry Icon Award en direct, lors des Game Awards 2016, le 1^er décembre » « L’une des choses les plus importantes que je voulais faire cette année était de donner à Hideo Kojima le moment sur scène dont il n’a pas pu bénéficier l’année dernière. »

Les nominés pour l’édition 2016

Le jury de la soirée a également dévoilé la liste des nominés de l’édition 2016 des Game Awards. Cette cérémonie comprend 24 récompenses au total ! Celles-ci sont réparties entre tous les acteurs du jeu vidéo, comme les jeux, les acteurs, les studios ou encore les équipes d’eSport.
