Delta Force is widening compensation for players killed by cheaters. In its October 12, 2026 announcement, G.T.I. Security says victims now also qualify when the cheater receives a 30-day ban, extending eligibility beyond the ten-year bans previously required.

Ban confirmation starts the delivery window

G.T.I. Security describes the change in its security statement. Under the previous rule, a player’s eligibility depended on the cheater receiving a ten-year ban. The expansion means a shorter, temporary sanction can also trigger compensation for the affected player. The duration of the offender’s ban therefore no longer has to reach ten years for their victim to qualify.

The team says compensation will arrive through in-game mail within three business days of the message confirming the ban. That delivery window applies to both 30-day and ten-year bans. It starts with the confirmation message, rather than the match in which the player was killed or the submission of a report.

For an affected player waiting for compensation, the confirmation message is the useful reference point. Three business days should not be read as a promise of delivery within 72 hours. The announcement does not give a separate effective date for the expanded rule or specify how it applies across platforms.

There is also an exception for recovered equipment. If squadmates extracted the gear the player brought into the match and then returned it, the system will not award compensation a second time for that equipment. The broader eligibility rule therefore preserves a distinction between a loss caused by a cheater and gear that the squad has already recovered and handed back.

The security figures for October 5–11

The announcement also includes G.T.I. Security’s enforcement report for October 5–11, 2026. On PC, the team reports 983 users banned for ten years and 11,641 devices blocked for one year. These are separate measures: a device count does not establish the number of individual players involved, so adding the figures would not produce a reliable total of cheaters.

On mobile, the team reports 265 players banned for ten years and 11,316 cheating attempts stopped in real time. The latter measures attempts, rather than distinct players. The console section lists nine bans for rule violations, without specifying their duration or the console models concerned.

Those figures describe enforcement activity reported by the security team; they do not, on their own, establish that cheating declined during the week. The compensation change has a more direct consequence for victims: a confirmed 30-day ban can now make them eligible, while the delivery window still begins at confirmation and recovered gear remains subject to the stated exception.
