Crunchyroll scheduled the Firefly Wedding English dub to begin on Friday, October 23, 2026, followed by weekly episode releases. Its October 22 announcement names Rowan Gilvie as Satoko and Kieran Flitton as Shinpei for episode 1, alongside the supporting cast and English adaptation team.
As of October 24, the announced launch date has passed. Availability of the English audio track in France remains unconfirmed, so viewers there should check the episode’s audio options before starting.
A weekly release for the English dub
Crunchyroll announced a weekly release schedule for the English-dubbed episodes. Viewers can therefore expect a staggered rollout; the announcement does not promise that the complete dubbed series will be available at launch.
The announcement gives neither a release time nor a full episode calendar. October 23 is the scheduled starting date, but that date alone does not confirm that the English audio track is accessible in every territory. Viewers planning around the weekly schedule will still need to check when each dubbed episode becomes available to them.
Rowan Gilvie voices Satoko, Kieran Flitton plays Shinpei
Rowan Gilvie plays Satoko and Kieran Flitton plays Shinpei in episode 1. Crunchyroll names the following supporting actors and their characters for that episode:
- Jason Douglas as Mitsueda;
- Ben Stegmair as Kotaro;
- R Bruce Elliott as Jubei;
- Jordan Colea as Miwako;
- Chris Rager as Ozoe.
The cast announcement covers the opening episode. These credits identify the performers behind its named characters; they should not be treated as a complete cast list for the entire English-dubbed series.
Caitlin Glass directs the English voices
Caitlin Glass is the voice director for episode 1 of the English dub. Matthew Greenbaum handles the episode’s adaptation, with Macy Anne Johnson credited as adaptation supervisor. Glass’s role concerns the voice performances, while Greenbaum and Johnson’s credits cover the adaptation and its supervision.
The anime is directed by Takahiro Kamei at david production. Yuko Kakihara handles scripts and series composition, Yukiko Aikei provides the character designs, and NOGRID composes the music.
Kamei and Glass have distinct directing credits: Kamei directs the anime, while Glass directs the opening episode’s English voices. For viewers choosing the English version, the practical information is the announced weekly rollout and the named cast; access to that audio track still needs to be checked on the episode in their territory.
