Teaser and April 2027 broadcast window
On October 1, 2026, Crunchyroll News announced a teaser for Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent, released that day, and an April 2027 broadcast window. Crunchyroll News names Hiroto Shimizu as Dan Ichikura and Suzuko Hara as Hiro Momose.
A school-life comedy built around a clash
In the synopsis Crunchyroll News attributes to Seven Seas Entertainment, Momose hopes for a peaceful school life, while Ichikura, a former middle school delinquent, continues to get into fights. That contrast sets up the series’ romantic comedy premise.
Yuma Tomochika narrates as Ohana-chan. Makoto Hoshino directs the anime at Studio Flad and Wao World; Megumi Shimizu handles series composition, and Ruriko Watanabe designs the characters.
The manga behind the anime
The manga has run in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine since January 2021. It had 11 collected volumes as of October 1, 2026, and Seven Seas Entertainment publishes its official English edition.
