The Green Pokémon Jet event arrives in Pokémon GO in Japan on September 18, 2026, at 2 p.m. ANA and Pokémon GO will run activities at participating airports until August 31, 2027, at 8 p.m.
Bulbasaur takes center stage
According to the official announcement dated August 24, 2026, Bulbasaur will be the event’s main Raid target. It may appear with a special location background, and its Shiny version may also be encountered. The Shiny encounter is not guaranteed.
The event also adds ANA-themed PokéStops and Gyms, along with Timed Research. That research expires three days after it is received, so starting it during a visit to a participating airport will give players the clearest chance to complete it.
Phase 2 airports include four Shikoku hubs
Phase 2 includes, among others, Kōchi, Matsuyama, Takamatsu and Tokushima airports. Fukuoka, Saga, Miyazaki and Naha are also on the listed schedule. The complete schedule for phase 3 will be announced later.
The event’s long run gives collectors passing through a participating airport time to look for the location background across several trips. That makes the extended window more useful than a one-day Raid opportunity, although the Shiny encounter remains a matter of chance. The latest Pokémon GO updates are collected in the latest video game news.
