Iceblade of Narin will launch on September 23 in Warframe across all platforms. The announcement published on September 4, 2026 confirms the date, but not the launch time, price or other commercial details.
The update’s central addition is Glacial Defiance, a mode supporting squads of up to six Tenno. Its weekly Cryobells will provide increased rewards and unique modifiers that members of the same squad can stack. Players who want to use that system fully will therefore need to coordinate a larger group than a standard mission usually requires.
The Zariman gets a new reward loop
Yuvan Peak will become a new social relay on Earth’s dark side. The update will also add Melica’s Lab and introduce Entropic Eximus enemies in the Zariman nodes.
These enemies may drop Entropic Kuva, which can be exchanged with Cephalon Melica for rewards including Narin crafting blueprints. The wording confirms a possible source rather than a guaranteed drop from every encounter. The system is connected to the threat of the Man in the Wall, although the announcement does not reveal the related story details.
What changes for Banshee and Riven mods
Players who log in between September 23 and October 7 will receive a free Banshee reward. The dates are confirmed, while the exact claim conditions and the precise nature of the reward have yet to be announced.
The update will also affect Riven mod work. Some traits may be retained when a mod is rerolled with Kuva, and Riven Splicers will make it possible to combine two traits. Citrine Prime Access is also planned, along with new customisation options for Banshee and Qorvex. No prices or edition details have been provided for these additions.
