Just Dance: Decades of Hits is available on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Ubisoft announced on October 13, 2026. The collection includes 35 songs, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release scheduled for November 10.
ABBA, Spice Girls and Sabrina Carpenter join the playlist
Mamma Mia by ABBA, Wannabe by Spice Girls and Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter are among the tracks included. Those selections put the collection’s cross-generational premise into practice, bringing the artists together within the same song selection. Ubisoft lists the songs in its launch post.
Up to six dancers can play locally
Local multiplayer supports up to six players, and Ubisoft says a phone can serve as a controller without buying additional accessories. That gives groups a way to join in using phones, although supported models and operating systems are not detailed in the announcement.
The new “multiple dancer card” system lets each player customize their profile. Alongside the shared local sessions, it gives individual dancers their own profile to personalize.
Party Mode changes the rules each round, giving a group session a changing structure as play continues. Workout Mode instead tracks calories burned during each dance. The calorie counter provides an activity estimate; its accuracy has not been independently established.
Adventure Mode follows Lyra’s search for her father
The new Adventure Mode follows Lyra as she searches for her father, Dr. Gigavolt. Her journey spans six themed worlds and includes mini-activities and exclusive rewards.
The search gives this mode a story to follow alongside the dancing. Where Party Mode varies the rules between rounds and Workout Mode focuses on physical activity, Lyra’s adventure offers a narrative goal, with activities and rewards accompanying the journey.
Existing songs share the same space
Players who own Decades of Hits and Just Dance 2023 through 2026 editions can find their songs together in one place. Purchased Music Packs are included, as are songs accessible through an active Just Dance+ subscription.
For returning players, the practical benefit is bringing those selections together. Access still depends on the editions and packs owned, while subscription tracks require Just Dance+ to remain active. This shared space does not establish that purchases can be transferred between platforms.
The release therefore adds a defined song collection and Lyra’s adventure while accommodating content players already own under those conditions. Switch 2 players have a later date to plan around: November 10.
