Several progression blockers are addressed
The fix addresses problems that could leave Proxima stuck in the Biosampler animation. It also removes an infinite glitch affecting Lazlo’s Temperament perk.
Egon’s Stone receives two separate corrections: the hotfix addresses a Gloom exploit and incorrect dungeon loading after the stone is used. The announcement also lists fixes for spawning and targeting problems involving Grisha Remnant and Summon Stone.
Several world issues could interrupt a run. The hotfix corrects a camera problem while traversing Citadel Annex, death volumes in the Ashen Cathedral biome and a situation that could trap players in a dungeon after obtaining Lazlo. It also fixes incorrect values for burn and stasis environmental hazards, as well as multiple collision and geometry problems.
Items, combat and NPC interactions
Mether’s Severance can now be used at the “Genessa trainer.” The Colossus Stone ability can be canceled while it is being executed. The update also addresses durability problems with Justiciar Stone and durability loss for Gloombound Stone caused by Gloom sources other than enemies.
Combat receives a series of targeted fixes. Hexapod could perform a diving attack after its death; that issue is addressed. The hotfix also corrects several problems affecting frozen enemies and bosses, and fixes an issue that allowed players to leave the fight against Twin Sester after the boss appeared. Starved Harridan could also become blocked and then killed by a bug, which is included in the fixes.
NPC behavior is covered as well. Zhirelle’s missing interaction with the player in NG+ is corrected, while the repeated appearance of Muttons in the hub is addressed. The hotfix also fixes a problem that allowed certain NPCs to be damaged with secondary weapons, along with several issues involving Genessa’s dialogue and training tutorials.
Stability improvements, but no version details
The announcement mentions additional improvements related to crashes and overall game stability. It does not provide a version number, price, download size, end date or separate deployment schedule for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
For players affected by the listed blockers, the practical change is broad: the hotfix reaches progression, item behavior, boss encounters, NPC interactions and problematic areas rather than focusing on a single system. The Steam announcement confirms availability across the three stated platforms, while platform-specific rollout details remain unspecified.
