Once Human’s Isles of Abyss servers are scheduled to open after the October 21, 2026 update (PT), with registration handled directly through the in-game scenario sign-up interface. In its October 20 announcement, the team confirms there will be no advance registration, although eligible players can prepare a group to join together.
Registration starts when the servers open
The first batch will include four servers in Europe and four in North America, named Isles_Abyss-X0001 through Isles_Abyss-X0004 in each region. Each server will contain 12 worlds.
The announced date is given in Pacific Time, without a precise opening hour. The team asks players to check the game for actual server opening times, so the update date alone should not be treated as a fixed appointment to log in.
The Isles of Abyss permanent server is scheduled for November 18, 2026 (PT), before the first batch closes. A closure date for that initial batch has not been announced. Isles of Abyss will launch without a Vision tag; its Vision World is planned for Vision S5, which has no announced release date yet.

A new character or a transfer with a reset
Players who want to preserve their experience in their current scenario can follow the team’s suggested route: create a new character, move past the New Player Experience, then join a server through scenario selection. This allows the existing character to continue their current adventure while the new character enters Isles of Abyss.
For an existing character to transfer, their scenario must have entered its Rest Period. The character can then sign up for Isles of Abyss, but their level, supplies and other data will undergo scenario settlement and a reset. Transfer eligibility therefore comes with a consequence for that character’s progression.
The announcement separately identifies shared progress that will survive the move: cosmetics, blueprint levels and mod levels will not be erased. Those retained elements do not cancel the reset to levels and supplies, nor do they amount to a promise that all progress carries over. The choice is between starting with another character to preserve the current adventure and moving an eligible character under the scenario’s reset rules.
Form a Scenario Squad before opening
Friends can prepare a Scenario Squad before the servers open. According to the team, when the leader registers after opening, squad members are guaranteed access to the same server. Forming the squad is preparation for that registration, rather than an advance sign-up for Isles of Abyss.
Each participating character must have their sign-up system enabled, which happens during the final phase of their scenario. A character can belong to only one squad, and a reservation to merge into a permanent server prevents them from joining a Scenario Squad.
For groups, checking character eligibility and forming the squad are the practical steps available before opening. Registration itself must wait until the servers go live, while each player’s choice of character determines whether their current adventure continues intact or their eligible character moves into Isles of Abyss with the announced reset.
