REMATCH version 1.205.003 was released on September 29, 2026. The official Steam announcement focuses on ball interactions, goalkeeper dives, Aura Striker, stat attribution and several crashes. The official notes published on Steam also include smaller fixes, including issues in the customization menu and during celebrations.
The timing follows Season 5, which brought major changes to core gameplay such as dribbling and goalkeeper dives. The announcement also says that two further hotfixes are planned for certain ball-control and goalkeeper-input issues, although it gives no date for either release.
Ball control and goalkeeper inputs get targeted fixes
In general gameplay, version 1.205.003 prevents the ball from passing through MC when Defense Mode is active. With a controller in an online environment, MC should also no longer perform an unintended dribble before the lob push ball while in Dribble Stance.
The goalkeeper changes concern both input configuration and dive behavior. Players using a mouse and keyboard can now switch the Long Range and Short Range goalkeeper-dive bindings. The patch also prevents the goalkeeper from catching the ball with an upward long dive.

Aura Striker receives several mode-specific fixes
Aura Striker accounts for several mode-specific corrections. The hotfix addresses ball desynchronization during a Tap/Shoot volley performed while the goalkeeper is stunned. It also targets an issue where the ball could pass through the goalkeeper’s collision and remain stuck behind them, preventing recovery.
Other fixes concern movement and ball positioning. The goalkeeper controlled by the AI could block a player’s movement when that player stood near the post, while a ball caught close to the goalkeeper could float near the receiving player’s chest. Both situations are included among the Aura Striker fixes.
The mode’s presentation is covered as well. Changing the resolution during a goal celebration could produce a gray screen at the following kickoff, and one Aura Striker text string was not translated. Version 1.205.003 addresses both issues.
Save statistics and stability issues are also included
The patch corrects two incorrect Save attributions. A player who deflects the ball toward their own goal should no longer receive that statistic, and the same applies when a player controls or volleys a ball dropped by the opposing goalkeeper.
The miscellaneous fixes include a reconnection problem during kickoff that added an extra number to some players’ names, the missing ball at MC’s feet in the customization menu, and black head accessories during the Feint Spin Roulette and Superior Striker Blue Lock celebrations. Several crashes are also addressed, including crashes related to replays.
Version 1.205.003 addresses specific ball, goalkeeper and Aura Striker interactions while some related control problems remain scheduled for the two announced hotfixes. The announcement provides no precise deployment time and no post-installation resolution metric.
