Riders Republic Season 20 is available with a new Scooter Toy and 11 dedicated events. A free weekend is also scheduled for October 22–26 as part of the game's fifth anniversary celebrations, according to the Ubisoft News post published on October 7.
The Scooter is available separately in the in-game store or through The Ridge Full Send Pack. Owning it is a requirement for entering the 11 Scooter Classic Events, which adapt skateboarding and BMX events for the new toy. Access to these challenges therefore depends on owning the Scooter, rather than simply having the base game.

A Scooter User Generated Event (UGE) began on October 7. Ubisoft announced the Golden Ticket Scooter skin as a reward for players reaching the top positions on its leaderboard. That makes it a ranking-based reward, rather than something promised to everyone who participates.
More toys and Ubisoft crossovers
The season's progression includes snowboards themed around Brawlhalla, For Honor, Skull and Bones and The Crew Motorfest, alongside a Just Dance Panda outfit and a Rayman BMX. The crossovers span equipment and clothing, with the Scooter providing the season's new event format.
The Ridge Full Send Show is scheduled for the final two weeks of the season and will let players use all the toys in the Ridge Full Send Pack. It offers a chance to try the pack's different toys during that event; the separate ownership requirement applies to the Scooter Classic Events.
Free access with progress that carries over
Ubisoft describes the October 22–26 promotion as four days of free access. Players who buy Riders Republic afterward will retain their progress, so time spent during the trial can carry into the purchased game.
The announcement does not specify the promotion's start and end times, regions or participating platforms. Riders Republic itself is available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC through Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store, but that general availability does not confirm the free weekend on every storefront.
The anniversary follows a reported milestone of 17 million lifetime players, a cumulative player total rather than a sales figure. Ubisoft's celebration plans also include an in-game concert, a special event, Twitch Drops and a sale on the game. Its announcement scheduled an anniversary livestream for October 20, with details about the concert's artist or DJ due on October 16.
The free weekend gives prospective players an opportunity to try Riders Republic while retaining progress if they later buy it. For players interested specifically in the new Scooter Classic Events, owning the Scooter remains the condition that matters.
