ACE COMBAT ZERO may be offered as a standalone Steam app instead of being accessed through ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE. In a Steam post published October 2, 2026, the ACE COMBAT team said it had continued discussions with platform partners and other parties about distributing the preorder bonus.
The team is considering a separate app and reviewing its implementation details and distribution schedule. The option remains under consideration; the post does not confirm that a standalone app will be created or provide a release date.
The team will share more once details are finalized
The ACE COMBAT team says it will publish another update when it has finalized further details, including whether separate Steam distribution is feasible. For now, ACE COMBAT ZERO's standalone release remains uncertain.
