EA is investigating reports that fullbacks in EA SPORTS FC™ 27 drop too early and break the defensive line, but has not announced an adjustment. The team described the issue as one of the highest volumes of feedback it has received in its September 30 gameplay update. EA also cautions that an item on its watch list does not mean a change is planned.
The post gives no version number or gameplay update schedule. It describes what EA was reviewing at publication, rather than confirming what a later update will contain.
EA is monitoring defending, kickoffs and shooting
EA says it is watching players adjust to the greater emphasis on manual defending and try the reworked corners. Its stated design goal is to reward manual defending that cuts off passing lanes; the team is also checking whether items with weaker defensive attributes are becoming too effective at interceptions.
The team is tracking discussion of a possible rise in goals from kickoffs and early moves, comparing it with gameplay data to assess whether it reflects a wider trend and investigate the causes. The post gives no figures.

EA has also received reports that low shots, particularly toward the near post, can be stronger than other options. It says it is fairly satisfied with the current balance between shots and goalkeepers, while continuing to monitor feedback and unusual cases.
No core gameplay changes announced
EA is investigating several foul issues, including incorrect referee decisions after certain challenges. At the time of the post, the team said it was not changing anything that would affect core gameplay.
Players can submit feedback through the Player Feedback Portal. EA has also announced a gameplay Q&A on its official Discord, with the date and time to be announced later.
