The conclusion of ONE PIECE DAY’26 confirmed two films tied to One Piece’s 30th-anniversary celebrations: one marking the manga’s anniversary in 2027 and the other the anime’s anniversary in 2029. Crunchyroll details the official announcement.
ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY is scheduled for summer 2027. The film will adapt the God Valley flashback connected to the Elbaph arc currently airing in the anime. That subject gives the project a direct connection to the ongoing story, while its release also coincides with the manga’s 30th anniversary.
No exact release date has been announced. The announcement does not confirm a French or wider European release, nor distribution on any platform.
BAAD will reach Japanese cinemas in 2029
ONE PIECE FILM BAAD is scheduled to arrive in Japanese cinemas in 2029. Its plot has not yet been announced. Eiichiro Oda has drawn the film’s title lettering, as confirmed by the Crunchyroll News publication.
The two films therefore have distinct release windows: GOD VALLEY in 2027 for the manga’s 30th anniversary, followed by BAAD in Japan in 2029 for the anime’s anniversary. For now, the confirmed information is limited to these release plans, God Valley’s subject and Oda’s title lettering. Further production and distribution details remain unknown.
