Its item pool includes 14 Hexes, 11 Hallowed Items and 3 standard items, alongside six interactables and unlockable survivor skins. New music comes from Stavros Markonis, who also composed for DLC 3, and includes a track by Nando Garza.
Optional challenge and survivor skills
The announcement also lists changes to the base game or previously released DLC, without assigning each change to a specific part of the game. One is an optional Karma system that can make the final confrontation on the moon significantly harder. It also adds unlockable skills for Commando (Sabotage, Special), Huntress (Laser Cyclone, Secondary), Acrid (Cloying Breath, Special), Artificer (Tectonic Blast, Utility), Engineer (Laser Cutter, Primary) and REX (Proliferation, Utility).
The Halcyon Shrine’s balance changes affect its cost and the encounter it creates. At Stage 1, it now consumes 40 spawn credits instead of zero; at Stage 2 and later, the cost remains 50. It siphons gold at seven ticks per second, up from five, and spawns 3 golems instead of 2. The post says the shrine is much less likely to appear at Stage 1, where it appears in around 50% of runs.
