Silent Hill: Townfall now has a release date: September 24, 2026. The game is announced for PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Shown on August 26, 2026 during gamescom Opening Night Live, the official trailer also names three actors connected to the main characters in this new horror story.

A fog-bound return to St. Amelia Island
The story is set in Scotland in 1996. Simon Ordell is called back to St. Amelia Island to “put things in order,” only to find a silent community covered in thick fog. The island looks abandoned, but something is still there.
Silent Hill: Townfall uses a first-person perspective and combines exploration, escape sequences and narrative puzzles. Combat is deliberately constrained by the number of weapons and tools available. Simon also carries the CRTV, a pocket television that can receive unstable signals as he moves through the island.
