The new trailer for The World's Strongest Witch, released on August 27, 2026, confirms the anime’s Japanese premiere for October 7, 2026 and introduces a new visual. Crunchyroll News also presents the official trailer, a new visual and the two main songs.

Lorna’s “Internet” skill drives the story
Lorna is rejected by her family after awakening a skill they consider useless. Her SSS-Rank power, called “Internet,” gives her access to knowledge that can help her obtain valuable items and rare equipment.
The trailer focuses on that reversal: the ability that appears to condemn Lorna becomes her main means of progression. It establishes the fantasy tone, but does not explain the exact episode structure or indicate where each showcased scene fits in the story.
Two theme songs and the Japanese cast are confirmed
Honeyworks feat. HaKoniwalily performs the opening theme, “Eikyo-ryoku∞Idol”, while Rokudenashi performs the ending theme, “Hoshi wo Meguru”. The announcement associates both tracks with the anime but gives no separate release schedule for the songs.
Azusa Tachibana voices Lorna and Lulu. Fairouz Ai plays Elmina, Honoka Inoue plays Erna, Kana Hanazawa plays Aries and Yuto Uemura plays Reinhardt Highwind. The principal Japanese voice cast is therefore known before the series begins.
From light novel to manga and anime
The World's Strongest Witch began as a light novel first published on Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2022, before Square Enix released it in print. Five volumes illustrated by riritto are listed as published in Japan under the SQEX Novel label. A manga drawn by Tamaki Toga has also been running since May 2023.
Joji Furuta directs the anime at Bridge and Aisle. Shoji Yonemura handles series composition, and Yuki Morimoto designs the characters. The adaptation thus draws on a setting already developed through both a light novel and a manga, with its Japanese broadcast date now fixed.
French release details are still pending
For now, October 7, 2026, is the only confirmed appointment. The international platform, French availability and separate release dates for the two songs remain unspecified in the announcement.
