Dead by Daylight 10.2.2 changes Dark Arrogance to reduce recovery time by 10% after missed, obstructed and successful basic attacks. The patch notes, published on October 20, 2026, replace a larger reduction of 15/20/25% that applied only to missed attacks.
For players using the perk, the trade-off is straightforward: less recovery time saved after a miss, but a bonus that also applies when a basic attack connects or is obstructed. The official patch notes also announce fixes for Nostromo Wreckage, Pale Rose, Haunted by Daylight and several causes of crashes.
Dark Arrogance gains broader coverage with a smaller bonus
The team says it received feedback describing the change to Dark Arrogance between the PTB and the live release as excessive. This adjustment changes both the size of the recovery bonus and the situations in which it applies.
After a missed basic attack, the reduction drops from 15/20/25% to 10%. Successful and obstructed basic attacks now receive the same reduction, although neither benefited from the previous bonus. Calling this a straightforward increase or decrease would miss the distinction: its effect depends on the outcome of the attack.
The perk's description also retains the 15/20/25% increase to normal window vaulting speed. Its drawback remains: blinds and pallet stuns last 25% longer. The broader recovery bonus therefore comes with the same vulnerability to those interruptions during a chase.

Fixes for map interactions, crashes and the matchmaking timer
On Nostromo Wreckage, the team reports fixing an invisible collision that blocked projectiles around the meeting table. This addresses an obstruction affecting projectile attacks in that specific area. On Pale Rose, another fix addresses an unusable side of a generator, restoring the interaction described in the notes.
In Haunted by Daylight, the notes report a fix for Void Haunts passing through breakable walls. This correction concerns their interaction with those walls within the event.
The patch also addresses a rare crash during map generation and a crash when loading on certain platforms. The team does not identify the affected platforms, so the loading fix cannot be attributed to a particular system from this announcement.
The matchmaking timer receives a separate correction: it could start prematurely and continue running after the search had stopped. The fix concerns the displayed search duration; it does not establish that finding a match will take less time.
For a Dark Arrogance build, the practical change is the balance between broader recovery benefits and a smaller reduction after misses. Successful and obstructed basic attacks now benefit too, while the longer blinds and pallet stuns remain part of the decision to equip it.
