The Halo Fest Showcase playlist was announced for November 3, 2026, bringing the Halo Fest Forge Contest finalist maps to Halo Infinite matchmaking.
Every map supports Capture the Flag and Slayer in their Arena variants, while the other modes vary. Oddball appears on Cascade, Eulogy and Unconveyed. The official Steam announcement details the announced combinations.
The maps and their Arena modes
Each mode listed below is the Arena variant. Capture the Flag appears as CTF:
- Abundance: CTF, King of the Hill, Strongholds and Slayer.
- Bits and Pieces: CTF and Slayer.
- Cascade: CTF, Oddball, Strongholds and Slayer.
- Eulogy: CTF, King of the Hill, Oddball and Slayer.
- Hierarch: CTF, King of the Hill and Slayer.
- Sanctum: CTF, King of the Hill, Strongholds and Slayer.
- Shade's Promise: CTF, Strongholds and Slayer.
- Sluff: CTF, King of the Hill and Slayer.
- Sojourn: CTF, King of the Hill, Strongholds and Slayer.
- Unconveyed: CTF, King of the Hill, Oddball and Slayer.
Bits and Pieces has the shortest selection, limited to the modes shared by every finalist. At the other end, six finalists offer four modes each: Abundance, Cascade, Eulogy, Sanctum, Sojourn and Unconveyed.
King of the Hill appears on seven maps and Strongholds on five. For players looking for Oddball, Cascade pairs it with Strongholds, while Eulogy and Unconveyed pair it with King of the Hill. All 3 also include CTF and Slayer.
Forge finalists in matchmaking
The showcase brings the contest finalists together in a single matchmaking playlist, giving players an opportunity to encounter their creations in Arena matches. The map and mode pairings matter if there is a particular objective mode players want to see: the same selection does not appear on every map.
Unconveyed has a specific connection to another map: it is a modified version of Conveyance with static conveyor belts. Its announced modes include both Oddball and King of the Hill, as well as CTF and Slayer.
The final Halo Fest Forge Contest results are set to be revealed at Halo Fest. The announcement does not specify a date or time for that reveal, and the playlist's current availability remains unconfirmed.
