For Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on Steam Deck LCD, a player-reported profile uses 1280 × 800 resolution, a 100% render scale and a 60 FPS limit. It is a starting point for comparison, not a guaranteed performance target. If you are happy with the default image and smoothness, you can keep those settings.

A Steam Deck LCD profile to try
The profile published on Deck Verified Games is attributed to press1forhelp, who reports using a Steam Deck LCD running SteamOS 3.8.11. It is a personal configuration rather than an official Funday Games recommendation. The game version is not specified, so the same values may produce a different result on your device.
| Option | Reported value |
|---|---|
| Display mode | Exclusive fullscreen |
| Resolution | 1280 × 800 |
| Render scale | 100% |
| Anti-aliasing | Off |
| Vertical sync | Off |
| Frame rate limit | 60 FPS |
The profile combines its resolution and render scale with anti-aliasing and vertical sync disabled. When comparing it with your own settings, pay attention to both image clarity and how consistently the game moves: the balance you prefer may differ from the one in the report.
The 60 FPS value is a limit, not a measurement of the frame rate achieved. The same player reports frame rate drops in the Azure Weald biome. That observation is useful when checking the profile, but it does not establish how the biome will perform on every configuration.
Compare it with your current settings
Before making changes, note your existing values so you can restore them. Look at the image and movement with those settings first; this gives you something to compare against when you try the reported profile.
- On Steam Deck LCD, compare your current values with the table and choose which options to try.
- Check whether you prefer the resulting image clarity and smoothness.
- If you notice slowdowns in Azure Weald, pay particular attention to how the game moves there.
- Keep the choices you prefer, or restore your previous values if they gave you a better result.
You do not have to adopt the entire table. Comparing individual values with your existing setup lets you retain the options you already like. In particular, do not treat the number in the frame rate limit setting as proof that the game is running at that rate.
When to keep the default settings

The defaults are a reasonable starting point if the game already looks and moves well for you. In an announcement on February 13, 2024, Funday Games said the default graphics configuration met Valve’s Steam Deck performance criterion at the time. That statement describes the game’s state on that date; it does not guarantee the same performance in the current version.
The reported LCD profile gives you another set of values to compare if you want to adjust the image or have noticed slowdowns. Keep the result that suits you, whether that means using the defaults, the reported profile or selected values from it.
The game is also available on Steam for Windows. The shared settings describe a Steam Deck LCD setup, so they do not predict performance on another machine.
Controller support and comfort
Steam lists full controller support, custom volume controls and adjustable difficulty. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a single-player auto-shooter in which you move and mine without having to aim or fire manually.
In February 2024, Funday Games said all functions were accessible with the default Steam Deck controller configuration and that the game displayed the corresponding controller icons. As with its graphics statement, that describes what the developer reported at the time.
