Well Dweller’s second patch should restore missing trinkets when affected players load the game, according to the official patch notes, published on October 2, 2026.
The issue affected players who returned lost spirits but did not receive their trinket rewards. The author says it probably happened when players left the room before collecting them. For those affected, loading the game with the new build should add the missing trinkets to their inventory.
Healing, shop prices and challenge fixes
The patch fixes a bug that stopped the spa water from healing the player, along with an issue that sometimes caused shop item prices not to match. It also addresses the Complete without taking damage challenge: healing during it previously ended the fight.
On easy difficulty, the Innkeeper chase now includes checkpoints. Teleporting also fills the “flaming vessels,” and the Japanese translation has been updated.
For the Dollmaker boss, the author reports receiving accounts of players getting stuck but says they could not reproduce the problem. Changes have been made in the hope of preventing it, though the post does not confirm that the cause has been identified.
A locked achievement should trigger on save load
An achievement could remain locked if a player saved and quit, or teleported, during the swamp campfire scene. The announcement says it should trigger when a save is loaded.
The October 2 announcement does not give a build number or specify a deployment platform. Players with missing trinkets can check whether loading the game with the new build restores them.
