Welsh & Shedar will begin its international release on the new Krosmoz YouTube channel on November 5, with Japanese, English and French audio announced. Crunchyroll presented the series’ first international trailer on October 19 alongside the release details.

The series runs for 12 episodes and takes place in the DOFUS universe. Its announced international rollout covers the world except Japan, including viewers in France. For English-speaking audiences, both English audio and English subtitles are on the language list.

Opening episodes arrive on consecutive days

The first episode is scheduled for November 5, followed by the second on November 6. New episodes will then arrive every Thursday, according to the announcement published by Crunchyroll. That gives viewers two instalments on consecutive days at launch before the series settles into its weekly rhythm.

The distinction matters when planning to follow the release: the second episode comes the day after the premiere, rather than a week later. Thursday becomes the recurring appointment after that opening pair. No upload time or final-episode date has been announced, so the schedule gives viewers release days without establishing a precise viewing time.

Krosmoz’s new YouTube channel is the announced destination for this international release. Crunchyroll published the trailer announcement, but the episode schedule directs viewers to Krosmoz on YouTube.

Three audio languages and four subtitle languages

The announced audio tracks are Japanese, English and French. Subtitles are listed in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. English- and French-speaking viewers therefore have both audio and subtitle options announced in their languages, while Spanish and Portuguese appear on the subtitle list.

These are separate language lists: the announcement does not detail how the tracks will be selected on YouTube or which audio and subtitle combinations will be offered. Viewers can plan around the confirmed languages, but specific pairings remain unconfirmed.

A cook from Brassica leads the story

According to Ankama’s synopsis, Welsh is a young cook from the village of Brassica. His story places the series within the DOFUS universe, giving the release a direct connection to that setting.

Naoki Horiuchi directs Welsh & Shedar at STUDIO MASSKET. Ankama and Studio Dream Catcher handle production.

For viewers following the international launch, November 5 and 6 are the opening dates to mark for Krosmoz’s YouTube channel, followed by Thursdays. The announced language choices include English and French audio, with the rollout covering viewers outside Japan.
