Euro Truck Simulator 2 UK Rework Bristol brings Bristol into the game's United Kingdom overhaul. In its announcement on 9 September 2026, SCS Software presented a city shaped by its relationship with the water, the port and the River Avon. The post also details the roads and landmarks that are intended to give Bristol a recognisable identity behind the wheel.

This presentation does not correspond to an imminent release. The elements shown are still in early development, even though the city centre is already progressing. Bristol has no release date, and the schedule for the overall project remains open.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 UK Rework Bristol: A city centre linked to the port

The recreation is built around 2 connected areas: the city centre and surrounding road network on one side, and the port and logistics area on the other. The roads mentioned include Brunel Way, the A4, Hotwell Road, Merchants Road and the A4018.

Several locations are intended to reinforce the city's identity, including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, SS Great Britain, Cabot Tower and the Wills Memorial Building. Queen Elizabeth's Hospital and St James Barton Roundabout, also locally known as The Bearpit, are among the announced landmarks as well.

In the port area, SCS Software plans three depots: a logistics warehouse, a car shipping terminal and a marina yacht dock. This selection already distinguishes the different transport activities planned for the area, without turning these announced destinations into content that is currently accessible.

A bus station linked to the future Coaches DLC

Bristol's bus station receives separate attention in the presentation. SCS Software is recreating it as a destination for the future Coaches DLC. No date or access conditions have been specified for this expansion, so it should not be confused with the UK Rework's availability.

For Euro Truck Simulator 2 owners, the confirmed commercial point concerns the British overhaul: UK Rework will be offered free of charge to game owners. This announcement does not establish that the future coaches content will follow the same conditions.

Bristol's map is therefore already clear in broad terms: identified roads, historic landmarks, a port split between three types of depot and a station intended for coaches. The final version and its schedule still need to be announced before we know when these changes can be explored in-game.

Bristol marks another tangible step for UK Rework, but the announcement remains a development showcase. The overhaul's free release is confirmed; its release date and that of the Coaches DLC are not yet known.
