East Haddonfield is the new map revealed for Halloween: The Game. Introduced on September 1, 2026 on the PlayStation Blog, it is built around a large grain mill. Neither the game nor the map has an announced release date. JEU.VIDEO will cover the next official updates.

The district moves away from the residential streets most associated with Haddonfield. Silos, warehouses, small businesses, farmland, highways and railway lines surround the mill, creating routes between buildings and landmarks that are easier to read than a featureless field.

Cover and exposure define the new district

East Haddonfield mixes indoor and outdoor spaces. Porches, farm equipment, dirt parking lots and passages between buildings shape the area around the mill, while the Rabbit in Red Lounge and Phelps Garage extend the franchise’s identity into this rural-industrial setting.

According to the official presentation, uneven sightlines, irregular fences and interlocking buildings should support stealth and several escape tactics. A gap can make a getaway easier, but crossing it may expose survivors to Michael Myers. The safest route will therefore depend on available cover as much as on distance.

Michael Myers can use the openness too

Halloween: The Game retains its asymmetrical 1v4 format. Michael Myers hunts the survivors, while the other four players must save as many of them as possible and stay alive. His power increases during the match, making prolonged confrontations more dangerous when protection is spread across open ground.

East Haddonfield will also host a section of the story mode. The PlayStation Blog connects its visual identity to the 1978 film, research into the 1970s and conversations with Nick Castle, Malek Akkad and John Carpenter. The setting continues that legacy, although the precise content of the story section has not been detailed.

Release details are still missing

The announcement confirms neither the game’s release date, East Haddonfield’s release date nor the complete platform list. Its status as base content or a separate addition, along with its price, terrain size, match length, numerical balancing and performance, also remains unknown.

For now, East Haddonfield’s defining change is its rural and industrial layout: survivors gain more ways to move, but fewer guarantees of remaining hidden. The map’s concrete access conditions will have to wait for a later official update.
