Troy Denning, Matt Forbeck, Tim Lebbon and Jeremy Patenaude are joining Halo Fest for panels and book signings at the Seattle convention on December 12 and 13, 2026. In its October 23, 2026 announcement, Halo Waypoint announces author panels on the Community Stage and a nearby area for meeting the writers.
For ticket holders who follow Halo’s stories beyond the games, the announcement adds opportunities to hear from the writers and bring books for signing. The official event page listed tickets as sold out on October 24, 2026, a constraint for anyone considering a trip following the guest announcement.
Author panels and meetings near the Community Stage
The writers are scheduled to take part in individual and group panels. These sessions will take place on the Community Stage, with some centred on a single guest and others bringing authors together. Halo Waypoint plans to announce the panel details and timetable later in November, so attendees will need that update to choose particular talks.
The meet-and-greet area will be near the Community Stage, with opportunities to meet the authors, take photos and have books signed. Readers will therefore have activities to consider beyond the talks themselves: listening to the stage discussions and meeting the guests in the nearby space.
The announced meeting area does not guarantee an individual slot with an author. Anyone hoping to combine a particular panel with a signing will need to wait for the forthcoming schedule before planning around those activities.
Commissioned artwork across the venue
Halo Waypoint also presents artwork commissioned for Halo’s twenty-fifth anniversary and Halo Fest. The pieces are intended for display around the venue, including on posters and banners, as well as in the art gallery.
The commissioned work will extend beyond the gallery into other parts of the convention venue. Alongside the author appearances, these displays give the festival programme a focus on Halo’s writing and visual art, with dedicated spaces for both stage discussions and artwork.
