Jyu-Oh Mujin Dandivine will premiere in Japan on October 7, 2026. The TV series begins twenty years after the combined robot Dandivine defeated the mysterious enemy Aposdoll, which has now returned to Tokyo, according to an announcement published by Crunchyroll News.
Aposdoll’s return threatens Kasuga
The previous battle left Kasuga, the toy maker that depended heavily on the Dandivine franchise, struggling to stay afloat. Its president, Genjuro Shijima, tries to revive the brand when Aposdoll reappears, turning a long-running business problem into an immediate emergency.
That crisis gives the anime a second stake beyond the robot conflict. Dandivine is no longer only a symbol of a past victory: its return could determine whether Kasuga survives.
Gekiha Shijima takes over Dandivine
Gekiha Shijima, a high school student, boards Dandivine after being invited by his uncle Yusaku Kuroiwa, the robot’s former pilot. The premise therefore brings together a threat from the past, a company fighting for survival and the transfer of the pilot’s role within the Shijima family.
Those elements create a clear starting point, but the announced information does not yet establish how the series will divide its attention between mecha battles, family history and Kasuga’s financial difficulties. The balance between those threads will be one of the anime’s main unknowns when it launches.
A Tokyo screening comes before the premiere
An advance screening is scheduled for October 4 at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo, three days before the television premiere. Takuma Terashima, Haruka Shiraishi and Saya Aizawa will appear at a stage event. The screening details are included in the Crunchyroll News announcement.
Yi Cao directs the series for LIDEN FILMS and Kayak Animation. Toshiki Inoue is responsible for series composition and scripts, Majiro provides the original character designs, and An from GOD BRAVE STUDIO designs the mecha. Takuma Terashima, Haruka Shiraishi and Saya Aizawa form the main cast, while Takanori Nishikawa performs the opening theme.
The Japanese launch is the only confirmed availability
For French-speaking audiences, the announcement confirms only the Japanese release. No international platform, Crunchyroll simulcast or French broadcast time has been announced. Jyu-Oh Mujin Dandivine will also be the first entry in the Gattai-shin Series, a project associated with Good Smile Company’s 25th anniversary.
