Loftia is available in Early Access on Steam. In its November 3 announcement, Qloud Games announced the launch of its multiplayer game set on floating islands.
The current release includes a main story and activities players can share, while features such as Clubs and friendships with non-player characters are planned for later. Early Access means the game is still in development on its way to version 1.0.
Four chapters across the floating islands
Loftia brings farming, crafting, decorating and exploration to a multiplayer setting. Players can take part in those activities together as they explore the floating islands, alongside a main story included in the current release.
The story has four chapters spread across Loftia City, Hanging Gardens and Gridfall, according to the Steam page. Those locations form the setting for the progression Qloud Games has described for Early Access.
Qloud Games is both the developer and publisher of Loftia. Its description places shared activities alongside the story, giving players several ways to spend time in the game’s world as it continues to develop.

The Steam listing includes system requirements for Windows and macOS. Players considering the game can check the requirements for their system on its store page before starting.
What Qloud Games plans to add
Study Cafe, Clubs and friendships with non-player characters are among the features the studio plans to introduce during development. They are part of the planned path toward version 1.0, rather than features Qloud Games has described as included in the current release.
That distinction matters for anyone drawn to Loftia by its social side. The game already supports shared activities and exploration, but players particularly interested in joining Clubs or building friendships with characters will need to wait for those additions. Qloud Games has not announced individual release dates for them.
The studio is aiming for around one year of Early Access, although it says the exact timing of version 1.0 will depend in part on community feedback. The estimate is therefore a development target, not a firm release date.
For now, the release offers the four-chapter story and the activities described on Steam. Players deciding when to join can weigh that current content against the features still planned for development.
