War Thunder players can earn an Italian Unity Day trophy from November 4 at 11:00 UTC until November 7, 2026, at 11:00 UTC. The task requires 3,000 mission points in battles where an Italian vehicle of rank III or higher has been used.
The event marks Italy’s National Unity and Armed Forces Day. The trophy offers a holiday decal, with alternative rewards for players who already own all 4 available designs.
How to earn and claim the trophy
Use an Italian vehicle of rank III or higher in battle and earn 3,000 mission points during the event. The task can be completed in random battles, subject to an exception listed in the official announcement. The name of the excluded mode is not clear in the announcement.
To check progress from the hangar, follow Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Italy’s National Unity and Armed Forces Day. These are the English interface labels. Once the task is complete, the trophy must be claimed manually.

Decals and alternative rewards
The trophy contains one of 4 decals previously offered for the holiday: “Italy’s National Unity and Armed Forces Day”, “The Heart of Italy”, “Bersaglieri Cockade” or “Italian Unity”. Players can find the decals in the Holidays section of vehicle customization.
Anyone who already owns all 4 receives a trophy containing an alternative reward when opened. It can be a 20–50% Research Points or Silver Lions booster for 3–10 battles, 3–5 universal backups, or one day of premium account time.
Two Italian vehicles return during the event
The P40 “G.C. Leoncello” and M43 “G.C. Leoncello” are also available during the event. Both appear under Italy → Army → Premium Vehicles, using the English labels in the announcement, and their availability ends on November 7 at 11:00 UTC.
The distinction matters for the trophy task: the P40 is rank II, while the M43 is rank III. A battle in which only the P40 was used therefore does not meet the task’s vehicle-rank requirement. The M43 meets that requirement, though players must still reach the mission-point target and claim the trophy.
