The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask has become the second Zelda Collection Card pack in Nintendo Today!, available since October 4 according to Nintendo. It offers a different character card each day, with a quiz that rewards correct answers with medals for missed cards or wallpapers.
In its Japanese announcement dated October 5, 2026, Nintendo also announced music and icon parts from the game. Nintendo presents these initiatives as part of The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary. The initiatives follow the anniversary information presented in the September 8, 2026 Direct.
A daily quiz with a single attempt
Nintendo Today! is a smartphone app accessible to anyone with a Nintendo Account. Its Zelda Collection Card feature offers daily cards inspired by characters or items from the series; the Majora’s Mask pack focuses on characters appearing in that game.
After obtaining a card, you can access its quiz on the same day, with only one answer allowed. A correct answer earns a medal. That gives the daily question a practical purpose beyond testing your knowledge: its reward can go towards a card you missed or a wallpaper.
The medals work across all packs. Rewards earned through the Majora’s Mask quizzes can therefore be redeemed for missed cards from the first pack, dedicated to Breath of the Wild. Collectors with gaps in that earlier collection can use the new pack’s rewards to fill them, rather than keeping those medals exclusively for Majora’s Mask.

Music and icons come with subscription requirements
Nintendo scheduled the game’s music for release in Nintendo Music on October 9, including the main theme and tracks from various scenes. Listening through the service requires Nintendo Switch Online.
For the icon parts, Nintendo lists a Platinum Point redemption deadline of October 23 at 9:59 a.m. The Japanese page does not specify a time zone, so readers elsewhere should not treat that as their local cutoff. Redemption is through Platinum Point gifts in the Nintendo Switch Online app on Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, where the parts can also be used.
There is also a play requirement: Nintendo says players must play Majora’s Mask through NINTENDO 64 Nintendo Classics to redeem its icon parts. The Nintendo 64 game is available through that service with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. Participation in Missions & Gifts requires Nintendo Switch Online.
For card collectors, the useful addition is the ability to turn correct quiz answers into rewards across both Zelda packs. The music and icon offers have separate subscription conditions, with the icons also requiring play through Nintendo Classics. For more Nintendo announcements, see the gaming news on JEU.VIDEO.
