TheWar Thunder Grand Finals 2026will take place across three weekends between October 23 and November 8. Steam’s announcement confirms the dates for the Air, Ground and Mixed events, while the times and broadcast schedule are still to come.

This qualification follows the conclusion of the WTCS Pro League Major III, the final professional Major of the regular season. Team Voyager won it with 126 points, ahead of Team AVReS (108 points) and Team DODEC (88 points).

Voyager finishes the regular season on top

Major III therefore brings the regular season of the War Thunder Championship Series to a close. Voyager finished 18 points ahead of AVReS in this final stage, while DODEC completed the podium.

The MVP vote followed the same overall order: Oskar of Voyager was named the best player of Major III, ahead of NeZoXi from AVReS and _nyffer from DODEC. These awards concern Major III and do not change the finals schedule.

The official announcement published on Steampresents the Grand Finals as the culmination of the 2026 season.

War Thunder Grand Finals 2026: three formats, 8 teams and specific dates

The 8 qualified teams are DODEC, VOYAGER, AVReS, JinX, FiveSticks, Invictus, MRCLS and LEET. They will compete in the three competitive formats announced for this final stage.

  • Air: October 23 to 25.
  • Ground: October 30 to November 1.
  • Mixed: November 6 to 8.

The schedule already allows viewers to set aside three separate weekends depending on which format interests them. However, it is not yet a complete viewing schedule: the announcement does not provide a start time, time zone or broadcast channel.

Information still to come

Gaijin will publish the details of the Grand Finals format, the rewards and the broadcast schedule separately. These elements will determine how to follow each match, but no additional date has been announced for that upcoming publication.

The WTCS regular season is now over. The competition continues with 8 teams and three dates on the calendar, but the precise viewing details have yet to be confirmed.
